I'm a nutritional therapist (CNM), a functional medicine practitioner (FMU) and a yoga teacher (BWY). I enjoy supporting people with sleep problems and to do it naturally. Sleep is everything! When we can't sleep our whole system collapses. A day after a poor night's sleep is practically a lost day, a day spent almost like in a different dimension, so-to-speak, in other words, not in a very happy place. But when we sleep, the difference is huge, and the following day we can think clearly, we can focus, we can exercise, we can work and be productive, we can meet up with people and socialise, there is enough energy in our body and mind to juggle with family, work, friends, learning, and more. If you're reading this and you struggle with sleep issues, allow me to say that insomnia is reversible! From a physiological perspective, we need to check your sex, thyroid, and stress hormones, and rebalance them. We also need to check a few genes, your gut and your brain, and work on fixing any epigenetic issues with your brain and your liver, for example, as well as on reducing and eliminating the inflammation in the gut-brain-axis. During your follow-up consultations we will review your successes and challenges of the previous month. We will review your diet, your supplements, your lifestyle practices, and if needed, we will update them accordingly. If any lab works have been ordered after the first consultation's initial lab profiles, we will go over their results and accompanying health plans. The way I structure these follow-ups is as follows: Your first follow-up should take place 1 month after the delivery of your full health plan respoding to the results of your first lab test (s). Second & third follow-ups -monthly after your first follow-up. In total, we will meet 3 times monthly. Fourth follow-up - this session, all going as expected, will take place 3 months after your third monthly follow-up. Fifth follow-up- this session, all going well, will take place 6 months after your fourth follow-up. Yearly - thereafter, we will meet yearly for a maintenance check-up session. If you prefer a monthly follow-up throughout your program, this is of course possible and always for the same
