About Cornelia
I’m Cornelia Dahinten, a trauma-informed Clinical Hypnotherapist, Breakthrough Coach, Couples Therapist, and Conscious Parenting Coach, and the founder of Conscious Connections Consultancy, with over 20 years of experience. I specialise in relationships—supporting couples, families, and professionals like you in building healthy, grounded, and lasting connections. My approach is science-based, integrating psychology, neuroscience, and attachment theory with practical, hands-on tools that create real, sustainable change. Together, we focus on strengthening your confidence, resilience, and self-esteem. While we sometimes look into the past to understand patterns, learn, and recalibrate, a central part of our work is the active creation of what you truly want in your life and relationships. I’ve supported couples in deepening their bond, families in raising children more consciously, and professionals in becoming clearer, more effective communicators. I’m trained in EMDR, TRE, clinical hypnotherapy, couples therapy, conscious parenting, NLP, EFT, and Inner Child Matrix work, and I bring a thoughtful, integrative, and grounded approach to every session we have together.
Rewire the Patterns You Didn't Choose Some habits, fears and reactions aren't decisions — they're old programming running on autopilot. Hypnotherapy works below the thinking mind, in the state where those patterns actually got installed, so you can change them at the root instead of managing them from the top. I often combine it with EFT (tapping) to work the pattern on both the mental and the nervous-system level at once — one shifts the story, the other clears the charge still sitting in the body. It is a powerful combination. What we can work on: Anxiety and stress responses that fire before you've even thought Limiting beliefs ("I'm not enough," "I always mess this up") Fears and phobias Sleep issues and racing-mind nights Breaking habits — smoking, nail-biting, procrastination, overeating Confidence blocks tied to old experiences Emotional triggers you can't logic your way out of Performance blocks (public speaking, tests, sport) A note on the evidence: hypnotherapy has solid research behind it for things like anxiety, IBS, chronic pain, and smoking cessation. EFT has a growing evidence base too, particularly for anxiety and PTSD symptoms, though some researchers remain unconvinced of the mechanism (the "tapping" itself) versus the exposure and mindfulness elements doing the work. Results vary person to person either way — if you want something purely mechanistic, this isn't for you; if you're open to working with mind and body together, combining the two often moves things that either alone hasn't.
