About Maria

Hi, I'm Maria based in London, UK. I enhance people’s wellbeing through online life coaching and hypnotherapy, incorporating my background in fitness as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor. If you’re not fulfilling your potential, I can support you to move past unhelpful thoughts, feelings, habits and dynamics to enhance your capabilities, health and wellbeing. My holistic, growth-mindset approach manages overwhelm, heals trauma, elevates relationships and boosts performance, self-esteem and confidence.
 With a collaborative and tailored approach, I can incorporate Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), counselling techniques, parts therapy, inner child work, mindfulness and more. My special areas of interest include supporting people with anxiety and depression, ADHD (as I was late diagnosed in my 30’s) and chronic health conditions, as I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS). I have used my personal experiences of mental and physical health challenges to improve NHS mental health services as a Lived Experience Practitioner. I graduated in psychology from University College London (UCL) and worked in the mental health sector for the NHS before I moved into client services within design/branding agencies. I therefore relate to many of my clients' challenges in the public sector, corporate life, career changes, and employment versus self-employment. WHAT I CAN HELP YOU WITH I believe that you hold all the answers to get you to where you want to be. However, you might feel stuck and want help: ► defining your needs, values & purpose. ► tapping into possible strategies & solutions. ► structuring ideas & goals into actions. ► addressing self-defeating emotions, beliefs & behaviours. ► with motivation & accountability to follow through on a plan. I therefore support clients to achieve their goals more effectively than working alone. Some areas I can help you to explore are: ► Addressing unhelpful dynamics (e.g. stress, burnout, anxiety, low mood/depression, low self-esteem, procrastination, cravings/addictions/compulsions) ► Processing previous experiences (e.g. trauma, loss, outdated self-beliefs/narratives/coping mechanisms) ► Optimising health, wellbeing & performance (e.g. work/life balance, personal & career objectives, transitions, confidence, sleep, energy, fitness, breathwork, weight loss/management, smoking cessation) ► Improving relationships & communication (e.g. romantic, family, workplace, friendships)
 Our co-created process will be largely present and future focussed, but we can also explore things from the past that may be holding you back. For example, there may be self-limiting beliefs, unhelpful narratives, and/or unprocessed trauma to resolve, whether you’re consciously aware of this or not.
